Golden Star Resources Ltd. (USA) (AMEX: GSS) reported a fall of 3.83% to close at $4.02 with a heavily traded volume of 2.57 million shares.
NovaGold Resources Inc. (USA) (AMEX: NG) remained heavily traded with 2.12 million shares traded for the day and closed at $6.48 after plunging by 0.92%.
New Gold Inc. (USA) (AMEX: NGD) plunged by 2.21% to close at $4.87 however the total traded volume stood at 1.48 million shares.
The Talbots, Inc. (AMEX: TLB) closed at $11.17 after reporting a fall of 1.85% with overall volume of 1.47 million shares.
Taseko Mines Limited (USA) (AMEX: TGB) plunged by 5.54% to close at $3.92 after trading of 1.41 million shares for the day.
Samson Oil & Gas Limited (ADR) (AMEX: SSN) remained highly traded with 1.21 million shares and was the only heavily traded volume that reported a gain at AMEX by 5.28% and closed at $0.99 this Friday.
Kodiak Oil & Gas Corp. (AMEX: KOG) witnessed correction of 4.42% and closed at $3.03 with total traded volume of 1.17 million shares.
Orient Paper, Inc. NEW Common Stock (AMEX: ONP) closed at $5.89 after reporting a fall of 6.66% with 1.16 million shares traded this Friday.
Northgate Minerals Corporation (USA) (AMEX: NXG) reported a fall of 0.67% to close at $2.95 however the total traded volume stood at 1.04 million shares.
