Stocks At 52-week Low (RIMM, QCOM, WAG, APOL)

Research In Motion Limited (USA) (NASDAQ:RIMM) lost 9.33% to $53.11 on 29.35 million shares after it made its new 52-week low of $53. The stock was lowered to neutral from outperform by R.W. Baird, with the broker expecting further share gains from Android-based devices as well as the iPhones. First-quarter shipments were light, the broker added.
QUALCOMM, Inc. (NASDAQ:QCOM) today made its new 52-week low of $34.28 and slid 0.11% to $34.75 on low volumes. QUALCOMM Incorporated designs, manufactures and markets digital wireless telecommunications products and services based on its code division multiple access (CDMA) technology and other technologies.
Walgreen Company (NYSE:WAG) is down 1.38% to $27.21 on 5.06 million shares. The stock today made its new 52-week low of $27.18. Walgreen Co. is engaged in retail drugstore business. As of August 31, 2009, the Company operated 7,496 locations in 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and Guam.
Apollo Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:APOL) lost 3.75% to $44.25 after it made its new 52-week low of $43.49. The Company has a joint venture with The Carlyle Group (Carlyle), called Apollo Global, Inc. (Apollo Global), to pursue investments primarily in the international education services industry.
